I want to know what my clear retainers will actually be made of before I order.

We use professional Essix PET-G (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) thermoplastic — a standard, widely used clear retainer material that orthodontic practices use to make the same kind of pressure-formed clear retainers. So what you receive is the same type of clear retainer a dentist would provide.
